Shared Apex loop array antenna is most likely a next candidate reception antenna for MW DXing

   Tonight, I enjoyed watching this youtube presentation by Mark Bauman, KB7GF.  This presentation is easy to understand because of his kind and precise explanations. I am really interested in higher Relative Direction Factor(RDF) achieved by this antenna.  You can download the presentation material from here.  Here in Japan, I could find only a test result of this antenna introduced by Japanese amateur ham operator Fukayama-san(JE1KUC）.
   I think this antenna is most likely a next candidate for MW DXing.  I would like to manage to do some experiments on this antenna next year.

  マーク・バウマンさんが設計されたShared Apex Loop antenna(マスト、コンバイナー、プリアンプ等を共有するループアンテナ）のプレゼンテーションをYoutubeで大変興味深く拝見しました。とてもわかりやすい英語で大変良く理解できました。このアンテナはかなり高いRDF（相対指向性ファクター）値を達成しており、この点にとても興味があります。この動画でも使用されているプレゼンテーションのPDFはここからダウンロードできます。日本では深山さん（JE1KUC）による日本語で書かれた資料がここにあります。深山さんの報告によれば、かなりこのアンテナは周囲の金属の影響を受けるとのことです。

私はこのアンテナは、中波DXにおいても使用を検討しないといけない次のアンテナ候補になるのでは思っています。来年なんとか時間をやりくりして、来年の秋のDXシーズンに間に合うよう、実験等を行うことができればと思っています。

   While I was watching Mark-san's presentation on youtube, I really envied him because he can do his experiments on his very large backyard!  

マークさんのプレゼンテーションを見ている最中、マークさんがご自宅の裏庭で実験をしている様子（下の写真）が紹介されましたが、その裏庭の広いこと！ものすごく羨ましく思いました。
